In the afternoon of July 15th , the 2008 appraisal meeting of projects of the Youth Science Fund for Disaster Prevention and Reduction was held in the first meeting room of library. Experts in our school, vice-president Liu Chunping, professor Jia Zhonghua, professor Liang Ruilian, researcher Ren Luchuan attended the meeting.

        In the meeting, the leaders of 9 projects expatiated in the research contents,  aims, main features, key problems, completion of the task, main achievement, the expectant influence, use of the budget and the assumption of further research. Experts group examined the plan, performance, results and spread and application of the achievement according to the requirement of “The Constitution of the Youth Science Fund for Disaster Prevention and Reduction of IDP”.

        Judging from the result, most projects have been finished on time as planned, some individual teams that did not carry out research properly and complete the work as scheduled are required to delay for a year to finish the project.
